      Was ist Plex Media Center:

      Plex Media Center erlaubt dem Apple TV 2 die Befreiung von iTunes

      1.) Terminal starten
      2.) Gibt nun am Terminal

      1. ssh root@ip
      ein. (ip mit der ip-Nummer deines Apple TV’s ersetzen)
      3.) Wenn die Passwort Abfrage kommt gibt

      an, falls ihr es nicht geändert habt.
      4.) Nun werden neue Cydia Quellen eingefügt. Tippt nun folgendes ab:

      1. echo "deb http://apt.awkwardtv.org ./" > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/awkwardtv.list

      1. echo "deb http://www.ambertation.de ./downloads/PLEX/" > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/plex.list

      5.) Gibt nun

      1. apt-get update
      ein, um den Cydia zu aktualisieren.
      6.) Nun tippt

      1. apt-get install plex-client-plugin
      um Plex Media Center zu installieren.
      7.)Die folgenden Abfragen mit

      Bestätigen.
      8.)

      1. killall Lowtide
      eingeben
      9.) Fertig.
      10.) Auf dem Mac Plex installieren

      Tipp:
      Plex startet immer beim Starten des Mac Automatisch mit.Dies kann man in Plex selber auch abschalten:

      1. Plex starten, Einstellungen > System > Media Server und die Option "Always Running" ausschalten

      um ffmpeg aktuell zu halten, führt bitte im Terminal (am Server Mac) folgende Befehle aus

      da werd ich jetzt neugierig.

      Ich kenne das Apple TV nicht - aber was mich BRENNEND interessieren würde, wenn schon Plex zu installieren ist, ob ich beim Plex dann auch Addons/Plugins installieren kann...
      Ich habe hier nen MediaPortal-TV-Server, wenn das ginge, dass ich per Felx am AppleTV das TV Signal streamen kann, das wäre hier ne kleine Revolution. ;)

      Kannst Du das beantworten?

      Drauf habe ich es habe zurzeit noch mit den Steckern Probleme.Apple hat die sehr nah zusammen gelegt :grrr:

      So auch alle andern Videoformate laufen :happy: schon mal :D Per Stream vom MacBook :D

      Jetzt muß ich nur noch meine WD einbinden

      Leider muß noch immer das MacBook Pro als Server laufen

      Mal sehen ob es da noch was für meine NAT gibt :shock:

      ich hab es irgendwie jetzt schon zum 100. mal probiert, ich kriege es einfach nicht auf mein Apple TV2.

      Fehler 1 nach dem eingeben von: apt-get update

      Ich verstehe irgendwie nur Bahnhof und werde aus diesem Meldungen auch nicht schlauer...

      Habe ich evtl. beim Jailbreak was falsch gemacht?

      hast schon was gefunden um das MacBook als Server weg zu lassen? Das nervt gewaltig... Sonst funktioniert schon alles Top!

      Liege ich richtig in der Annahme, Apple TV soll am TV angeschloßen sein, während Plex installiert wird?

      Nein, APT hängt jetzt am TV. SSH steht. Plugin Installation scheitert. Und wieder, wer lesen kann, ist klar im Vorteil

      Mein Fazit: Dank Dangos Anleitungen, Jailbreak und Plex Installation haben keine 30 Minuten gedauert
